Can anyone remember a heavyweight / cruiserweight from Philadelphia around the 1987 / 88 timeframe who had something like a 12 -0 10 ko's and maybee a draw.. his name was Andre (thee) Prophet.. He had a great debut , he knocked Dale Brown out in 1 round. His life was sadly cut short when he was killed riding his motorcycle in his neighborhood at a tender age of 20.. i remember he was one of Ring Magazines top prospects above a lot of very lucrative competition.. It kinda reminded me of another great once beaten philly fighters who died the same way... James Shuler.. if anyone remembers him feel free to holler back with any imput..
I think there was a thread on him about a year ago. I remember James 'Black Gold' Schuler, killed a week after being the victim of Hearn's most clinical display at middleweight. That was a formidable performance by Tommy that night.
