Ward is entitled to his opinion even though its wrong.

Pac does things in the ring that we've never seen before. Alot of fighters don't understand it and that's why they underrate him. Fighters with Floyd's style have come and gone many times throughout the years, but fighters with a style like Pac doing the things he does, I can't think of any.

I don't care much about Pacquiao as a person. Politics, music, movies I don't care and tbh I think alot of it is kind of dumb. But the ability he brings to the ring is what I think is amazing, so as a boxing fan I got nothing but high respect for Pac.

 

You say Ward is "wrong" but that is his opinion. You talk of Manny's skills like they are so astounding........................I can't wait for this fight.

Yes, no doubt Mayweather is the much improved version of his father and uncle, both of which were better than most of today's crop of fighters. None of today's fighters approach FLoyd's high level of skill.
Anyone who fails to recognize the superior boxing technique of the mayweather's is either in denial, does not recognize real skill when they see it, or are just racists who hate Mayweather because of the color of his skin. Yeah, I said it!

 

Many feel like that. But I think most would agree that from a pure boxing skill set Floyd is one of the most technical and fundementally sound boxers. But with regards to who the best FIGHTER is in Boxing MOST are siding with Manny and for good reason.

The best BOXER in Floyd vs the BEST fighter in Boxing with regards to Manny is the fight everyone wants to see. They are two HIGHLY RESPECTED and Highly talented athletes who are now competing at the same weight class. Both are the TWO best P4P boxers in the world who have completely different styles and personalities.

So it's a great fight for Floyd and Manny. Win, lose or draw the fights outcome will surely raise one or BOTH mens stock and legacy. They should realize that and make the fight happen.

 

Bull****! Fighters with Pac's style are far more common in the history of the sport than are fighters with PBF's style. Pac's style is far easier to apply than is PBF's.:deal

 

I don't think anyone would claim any different buddy.:rofl I have yet to find ONE person who doesn't acknowldege Floyd as being one of the very best technically and fundementally with regards to his boxing skills. And not just in this era but in ALL eras! That says a lot.

And your right...anyone who doesn't accept that is either in denial, doesn't recognize skill, is a racist and doesn't like Black folk or just plain Blind... Which you forgot.

I think however that most who don't appreciate Floyd are just folks who don't like FLOYD!:rofl Nothing having to do with being a racist, or not being able to recognize skill. Floyd just has a personality that most find annoying and ridicoulous.

 

I actually see where Philla is coming from. The style is common from a surface level. Manny is a pressure fighter...very agressive. But he's got the most awkward style with the way he punches, when he punches and having such a rythm that is hard to anticipate.

Floyd style is common coming from a "slick, defensive" foundations which is common especially amoung US African American fighters. BUT....what is uncommon for Floyd is similar to Manny. These two guys have EXTREME Talent and athletic ability. God given gifts that allow them to operate on a higher level than anyone else....aside from each other.

So I don't think either style alone is out of the norm moreso the individuals themselves who are truly on a different plateau than the rest.

 

Ward is such a big fan of Hopkins and Mayweather, that he fights so boring that he makes them look really exciting.

No doubt that Ward is the best SMW in the world, but he is also the least exciting fighter in the world right now..
