Andre Ward "A fight between me and GGG would not be easy for either of us"

Fighters know what they are facing its easy for us fans to say one fighter would win easy but this not the case

Ward has said many times that it would of been a very hard fight for him so why do some fans think ward would have a easy win?

When he himself knows it would of been a up hill battle for him

 

I don't think any logical fan would claim GGG would have an easy time with Ward.

Ward would still be the favorite because he is the bigger man. It's too bad they are not the same size/division...it would have been a helleva fight.

 

Guys keep pushing this match up, especially the Ward fans, because they are both undefeated, but Ward is a much bigger guy. The fight makes no sense. Ward is fighting at 175 and GGG is at 160. Give it a rest. Let's see what Canelo is made of first.

 

ward has fought 93 percent of his career at 168...one division north of 160....so spare me the bigger guy nonsense

Maybe Ward was 1 division north but he had been inactive and came back as a light heavyweight.

Floyd, Golovkin had said he'd come down to 154 to fight him. He's not asking Floyd to come up, he was the champion at 154. You going to hold it against Ward as he too wanted to fight Floyd.


Cotto and Canelo were/is champion at 160 the same weight as Golovkin there is no shame in looking to fight them. If Cotto and now Canelo doesn't want to fight at 160 then vacate and **** off back down in weight.

 

i dont have to hold it against ward because ward was never going to fight at 160 vs floyd....floyd has never entertained a fight at 160 with anyone and has said thats too far for him....so that talk was nothing but pure fantasy for ward....thats the same as hopkins saying hed do 160 for floyd too...never happen

that 160lb belt has been defended 3x in a row...bout to be a 4th time...under 160

if ggg can make 154 for floyd he can make 155 for canelo...since yall say the same size anyway.....ggg aint in a position to call shots and he needs canelo more than the other way around.....

canelo can vacate and ggg will be back to fighting c level fighters on BAD...

you cant accept the reality...the reality is canelo isnt a mw....but he holds the belt....he was allowed to challenge for it under the full limit....that belt is about to be defended for the 4x in a row under the full limit.....so what does that belt really mean? not much......

Ggg couldnt care less who he grabs the belt from. You have your opinions that are flat out wrong. Canelo holds NO say, it's his mandatory, if ggg says 160 and that's final, canelo will HAVE to fight at 160 or vacate.

How some of you think the opposite of the facts are true is simply baffling. GB can say whatever they want BUT ggg calls the shots for HIS mandatory shot, 160 and that's the deal.

Ward did say he WOULD fight fmj at 160, so why not 164 for ggg ? The exact argument you use against ggg is the exact factual basis of ward saying NO to ggg.

Ward actually could had fought ggg many times over by now, he really said he needed AT LEAST 3 tuneups prior to facing ggg. So ggg moved on and left 2017 open. IF ward can get the rust off (or gains enough confidence) ggg left the dòor open.

ggg/ward=completely realistic.....as would a floyd/ggg match.....the difference is....ggg is the only with something to really prove.....ggg has proven nothing other than hes the best of a weak division

now dont get me wrong..i think ggg is real good...head and shoulders above the class......but ward has already proven hes head and shoulders above a better class and is going up one to dominate it......floyds career is solidified.....an atg.....ggg has done nothing noteworthy

as far as the 155 belt...i dont think its great what canelo is doing....but does ggg really need that belt? dont we already consider him the best 160lber? if he was 28 or 30 id prob say sure go for it...hes 34 and the next two years could quite possibly more of the same for ggg...fighting c levels......hes wasting away
