Sorry, every time I watch him I wonder how he doesn't get knocked out. The guy swings like a ****** with an ass rash I don't understand how he doesn't get knocked out with his wild open swinging shots. I know he will never move up in weight despite having no competition left at his 167 weight class because he'll actually have to fight someone beside the same old bums. He doesnt' want none of kovalev, stevenson or hopkins, not at 175, his jab and hold style will get him knocked out
He is a terrible boxer, he knows once he goes out of 167 he is done because he is so sloppy and wild he is so open, it is like watching a car drive on one wheel and wondering how it doesn't fall down as it goes up hill. #2 p4p, we all know boxing rankings are very crooked. Not sure why there is even a 167 weight class. all it did was water down the competition and make it easier for more guys to inflate their egos and blow smoke up the fans ass. Lets push down or up these 167 back to 160 and 175 like in the good ole days and see how great they really are. You want more competitive boxing make less divisions.
Ward has refused to fight Stevenson at 175 or even 168. Ward will only fight in his home town with his personal referee, judges and boxing commission. Ward will probably not be able to box for a long time because it appears he is tied up in court once again..............
Ward also hugs like a bear stays active like a sloth headbutts like a ram and is superstitious as a caveman
I like Ward and think he's a great fighter, but I had to lol at this. Good one, shoe. All good humor has an element of truth to it. To the OP: Ward has amazing footwork and timing. His hand speed is good, as well. His inside game is among the best in the sport. That's why he doesn't get owned. I don't like the hugging and use of the head, though. I don't care for the hit and hold stuff, either--where he jumps in, lands a shot, and then bear hugs the opponent. Hopkins does a lot of the same stuff. Ward has some amazing talent, but I wish he'd fight more cleanly... I think he'd get more fans that way, too.
The seriously overrated Ward benefits from the lack of US talent these days. In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king!
