    Kriegel is terrible. I can’t stand listening to his pompous ass. Teddy could be a little corny at times, but I definitely miss him calling fights.

    As a fighter, he was boring and ducked the most dangerous opponents in his division. But he is a great commentator; he isn't afraid to speak his mind, because he doesn't risk getting hit to the body by prime Lucian Bute or George Groves.

    There's no replacing a legend like Atlas , but ATG boxer and an all around great human being like Andre Ward will provide a nice presence and expert analysis to the commentary team.
    Money well spent by ESPN. :smile::smile::sisi3::sisi1:singer:

    It's a complicated deal, apparently Ward will only do this from Oakland and has insisted on 3 "tune up" shows.

    Do you want him to shock and jive? You want him to act like a total idiot in public and beat his wife at home. I'm assuming that's your definition of "charm and personality.

    Great pickup by ESPN. We all respect Paulie, and Ward's the only commentator with knowledge and insight comparable to his. I like that Ward really enjoys sharing his knowledge in a clear and concise way that engaged viewers can appreciate. I always learn something with Ward's brain accompanying me watching boxing.

    I wish Ward was replacing Bradley as live expert commentator instead. I don't care if Bradley's more enthusiastic, he just doesn't really say anything beyond the obvious.

    Does this mean Ward's leaving HBO, or could he be doing double commentator duty?
