Andre Ward: Amir Khan is a good fit for Virgil Hunter

Amir Khan is stupid. This is the core root of his problems in boxing. He also has small ***** syndrome.

Like Victor Ortiz. Ortiz is also stupid. He can get a new coach, but I'm not sure this will stop him from doing stupid things.

 

Hopefully Ward and Virgil can make Khan understand the importance of just fighting the fight to win...


Not just the fight that Khan believes is 'exciting' and him bieng macho....

This will be Khan's third trainer that I know of. Eventually, the impetus for success must rest with the fighter himself. Hunter is a good trainer. If Khan listens to him and incorporates his instructions, he will improve. If Khan's ego continues to dominate his life, then he won't.

The fundamental question in my mind is whether an improved Khan can be a championship Khan. After all, he physical deficiencies are so well defined, I'm not sure a trainer can overcome them.

 

I think he'll win a few fights then have a near death experience again like the Rene fight or get KO'd

Obv Ward isn't going to say Virgil (his trainer) is a bad match for Khan, or for any other fight for that matter. Khan needs to stick to one trainer and learn from his mistakes. Seems like he did the same **** in the Garcia fight that he did back in 2008.

He is stupid. He can't think for himself in the ring when things are not going his way. He needs to stop talking and start learning the basics.

 

If Khan listens gets humble, drops the arrogance.. then yes after 3 fights with Virg I think Khan can be someone again.. but I have a feeling macho is in his blood and he his gonna go out on his back no matter who is coaching him.. Truly he could learn alot from being around WARD.. & DONAIRE.. Being in the Bay Area will Help Khan.. Maybe even score a Fight with tha Ghost...!

Every Fighter has deficiencies... What Virg does with Ward is Attack the opponent Weaknesses first protect your weaknesses With Proper and Fundemental Defence.. and keep your opponenet on their heels.. It requires a sound mind one that can think and box at the same time.. Ward Has it.. Does Khan???

He has beaten some very good fighters.

But the way people talk about him, you'd think he was worse than the guys hes beaten!
