What technician has GGG faced that's remotely CLOSE to Ward?

Look, I hate Ward and love GGG. I hope GGG destroys Ward. BUT, beating up guys like Murray and Geale isn't a good indication for how he'd fare against someone of Ward's skill and ability.

Well him and Abel Sanchez his trainer has mentioned wanting to fight Ward and Froch in the future.

He wants to unify the belts first and fight Cotto. That's the main goal this year.

    Andre would have NO CHANCE?

GGG is great, and I love watching him fight. But this is a gross exaggeration.

GGG isn't a big guy, and he's not that fast. Andre doesn't have to be a big puncher. Andre would be noticeably bigger, stronger and faster.

They have a chance of beating GGG but it wouldn't be easy. Same the other way, GGG has a chance of beating them but it wouldn't be easy.

    I have to agree.
I think Ward would go in close to GGG, and be the stronger fighter, and in close I think would remove GGGs power which I dont think has been proven on a real top MW even if he is beating the best available today, let alone a SMW

Thats also ridiculous. When has Ward been in a big fight without home advantage?
When have we seen Ward beat a top prime SMW?
When have we seen Ward beat a top prime undefeated fighter?
When have we seen Ward against combination, mover punchers?

Now I would favour Ward to beat GGG, as he is bigger and stronger and I think with his in close style would neutralise GGG, but lets not get carried away with a fighter whos best win is a faded, rusty, unwell, double vision suffering fighter who had previously been beaten

Why are people even talking about Bored? And why should GGG move up if it's not clear when or will that clown fight? Why can't Bored move up and fight stevenson or kovalev? Dirrel? Another boring black glass jawed runner and despite being smaller GGG went 1-1 with Dirrel in ams.

Lol at this kebab maker another stupid post, tell ward to move up and we'll see how he does against kovalev. BTW who are those elite technicians that couldn't outbox ward? Is that froch, kessler , abraham? What world class technicians has ward outboxed?

I was a big follower of Calzaghe and went to several of his fights, but I don't ever see him beating Ward easily. Very tough opponent, but I would like to think he would have beaten him though.

GGG v Ward would be very interesting and let's hope it happens.

Beating Carl Froch and a faded Mikkel Kessler (with somewhat bizarre tactics) doesn't make Andre Ward a Floyd Mayweather. I think it's possibly that Ward would beat Golovkin, it all depends on how much of his power GGG carries with him to SMW. (Ward will of course not move down in weight to MW or catch-weight. Winning Super 6 entitles Ward to stay at his natural weight, as well as staying in Michigan.) All I'm saying is, that Ward is not as proven as many ESB-members like to believe.
