Explain why Froch turned down a fight with Bute when they were the top 2 contenders for an IBF elimination fight? Isn't that ducking? And why didn't Kessler make any offer to Bute this summer?

two thing that are wrong with what your claming here.
1-any commin fighter they have faced, bute has don it in better way than froch, both fights happened this year one being yesterday so how can you claime he is not in same level.
2-pascal will happen in only a few years, they are both based in montreal and are still fragile money wise, the fact boxing is groing like crazy in montreal, fighting each other now would maybe mean suicide for one of them, makes no sence buisness wise.:deal

 

It is funny how people really get in the hype of the S6 in which the second tier guys just fight each other. Bute just schooled the third runner, and didn't even have to play his game since Johnson didn't open. Froch had to struggle and dig deep against Johnson while it looked like an other sparring session for Bute...

For Bute's haters: people, did you see Ward vs Miranda fight or Ward vs Bika fight ...... ???? ..... ward struggled with these guys .... be more realistic and objective .... same did Froch with Magee , it was a close fight until 11th round K.O ..... Bute dominated Magee all 10 rounds ...... Kessler struggled with Andrade ..... Bute K.O him in the second bout ..... I won't say that Froch,Kessler,Ward , Dirrel aren't elite fighter ... not at all ... but Bute is superior ...

P.S that Bute vs Andrade first fight is the supreme argument in the Bute's haters mind, that Bute isn't an elite smw fighter .... so pathetic .... man up people ...

Bute didn't participate in the Supersix tournament because at that time was with HBO ... they have a contract ..... can you understant this thing ?? ...

I think it was a big shame that Bute wasn't in the super 6, but that's irrelevant now.

Is he world class? Yes. Let's not for one moment think he was fighting a peak Johnson the other night though. I've never seen GJ look so shoddy, and it wasn't purely because of how Bute boxed.

Still, he did a great job, looked good doing it too.

Would he beat Froch? Maybe

Would be beat Ward? Maybe

It's a simple as that really. My only thoughts are that i'd like to see him step out of his back yard to fight the likes of Froch and Ward.
