Thats quite controversial, i would say Ward is definately the more skilled fighter. Vastly more skilled though???

With his lack of punching power , Heavyweights will walk right through him . Anything can happen in boxing though . Im glad hes aiming big

Will take a few years before his body grows and forces him there.

No one got his head around Pacquiao at junior middleweight or Roy Jones Jr. at heavyweight either.

I don't see why people can't see this. Flat Footed Ruiz who has ZERO power was a match made in Heaven for Jones and it is why he fought him. The fight was like a sparring session and made even easier for Jones when Nady jumped in every time Ruiz tried to use his usual illegal tactics.

Jones in several rounds barely threw 10 pounches in a few he threw in the single digits. You don't have to have power when fighting a skill less Heavyweight. Look a Haye he just back peddled post shotted and won.

Ward could EASILY do that against the right fighter at Heavyweight. Hell, Jones vs Ruiz was like a Sparring Session not a fight.

Would John Ruiz have walked right through him? Ruiz not only had no power he had no skills. The guy was slow and flat footed. Power was the least of his problems. Ruiz wouldn't have been able to get to him.

Highest top level heavyweights he'd have a realistic chance with right now are Povetkin and Adamek. Would probably clown Haye as well if he can avoid the power.
