"imagine our resumes were flipped......and i was saying id fight anyone"......absolutely....ward would be catching hell....he still does anyway...its pathetic the way people let ggg skate...and on top of it the way hes saying he wont fight canelo at a cw....i hope hes just saying it and not serious when he says it....because that would be bad

hes not "focused" on smith or murdock....they are fillers....guys to get ready to fight at lhw.....ward isnt fighting at 168 anymore...he would have made a one time last time effort for a ggg fight

ive always said ggg is a good fighter... a very good one....one that might be great....but we wont know if he keeps fighting trash cans.......ive never said ggg isnt good you imbecile....thats what many of you blithering idiots cant fathom...i dont think ggg sucks....i think hes good...i think his resume is trash and he needs to do w hatever he can to change that.....one day he wants big money fights...the next day he wants the wbc title...one day its anyone...the next day its only froch/chavez at 168 or floyd at 154

ggg and ward are two big names in the sport...if they fight each other its a big fight...its pretty simple stuff

GGG fans who won't acknowledge his olay at best resume or Andre Ward fans who think this guy is still relevant.

The real sad part is that I would root for Andre in a fight because he is my countryman and one hell of a boxer. But the only reason he and his fans put GGG name in his mouth is to remind people he exist. It is as simple as that. Thats the only way he stays relevant.

 

you think if ggg said "ill fight in december(a few months ago) at 168" you think ward wouldnt have fought? ....i mean...i personally think ward was serious and genuine about making a fight......but you might disagree....

i think ward was looking for a big fight and thought he could squeeze one more 168 fight in before going up

i personally think that ward vs ggg is a big fight in the sport and does well enough...because they are both big names....people that follow and watch boxing regularly know who ward is......lets take casuals out of the equation because casuals dont show up that much unless yer talking floyd or pac...cotto and canelo .....people in the boxing world know andre ward....and to be honest im not a big andre ward fan

 

I am doing my best to continue supporting ward but he is making it difficult for me. To be a boxer you need to, well, box. Genady fights 4 times a year. If he waited on ward he would have wasted two years already and boxing would have been robbed of 8 very exciting fights. We can't afford that, not with the stinker that fight of the century was, and ufc fighter on boxing mag cover.

 

all he really needs to do is get kovalev by the end of 2016...im quite certain hell get that....if he doesnt...and somehow tries to skirt around kovalev....he will feel the wrath

 

Well, since Bumlovkin refuses to get in the ring with Andre Ward, we'll never know for sure who wins that fight. I suspect that Team Triple Duck don't much like their chances...
