If Ward wins, that means that Abraham, Kessler and Froch will have 2 defeats. Losing doesn't keep you in a top 3. What do you think?

I don't know if you quoted me intentionaly but to my knowledge I have never said anyone is tailor made for Bute.

Froch could still have 1 defeat.

Welcome. What I am trying to say is, that Bute doesn't ranks better every time a super six fighter lose. Bute only becomes better after fighting tough opponents...............

If you're talking about your personal rankings (mine too) you are absolutely right. For instance Froch's performance agains Kessler, even if he lost, may be on par with Bute's performance against Miranda.
If you're talking about Ring's rankings then things are different.

their resume will still trump bute´s.

having 2 wins over quality opponents, beats facing the miranda´s, bika´s, berrio´s or andrade´s of the world.

Bute would get beaten by one of the 2 that dont make it to the final four way before the winner of the S6 gets to fight Bute anyway.

So what? All their resumes will be a billion times better (except Green's, which will proabably be only 1150 times better). The interesting thing is that they wouldn't need it for an interview or something and you shouldn't be surprised if the betting odds before the Bute vs S6 winner won't reflect the resumes you have in mind.
It's not like all of the S6 contenstants will enter the All-Time Hall of Fame leaving outside a weeping Bute.
IMO a resume is important only if you talk about retired HOFs, not active boxers. See RJJ's resume and ask yourself why doesn't anybody want to fight him. He has a solid resume, don't you think?

Jimmy Ellis won a tournament did that make him better than Frazier

Bute was the best and he got left out I think it is Ward fighting to fight the number 1

any way I think Ward is over rated and may not even win the super 6 let alone do it as easily many have predicted

Bute will be undisputed Light Heavyweight champion by the time the Tournament finishes

Yeah maybe not undisputed but i can see him grabbing a title, and he would give Chad a run for his money any day.

I don't rate Chad that highly and am inclined to agree with you. He's got his work cut out with Pascal anyhow!

  15. Lucian Bute is the true super middleweight champion, as he has defended his belt more successfully and is a fighter that Joe Calzaghe ducked to the point of moving up in weight to avoid him. He stands as the only fighter that had a championship title while Joe was still at 168 that he did not face. I think that the super 6 winner has to face him to even have a chance of being called the champion, cause whoever wins the tournament has no more clam to the title of the best 168lb fighter in the world then Bute does, and if you look at facts Bute is head and shoulders above anyone in the super 6 :!:
