"Newly retired Carl Froch believes the one who got away, Andre Ward, can go his entire career unbeaten." Full article and audio of carl froch on link below http://talksport.com/boxing/exclusi...reer-unbeaten-claims-newly-retired-carl-froch So if this does happen, as long as Ward doesn't fight GGG, Ward could go his whole career unbeaten. If he does, would it put him up their with the likes of Marciano and Pretty Boy Floyd whos gonna retire unbeaten? I don't think so, Ward will be like Joe Calzaghe who retired undefeated, no one rates Calzaghe that high.
If he stays at 168, in all likelihood yes, if he moves up to 175 and fights the top contenders, I don't think he'd go undefeated, especially as the division is about to blow up soon with young talent.
Like said, only at 168. If he goes up to 175 (maybe has to) in the future, I won't favor him over Kovalev at all and Beterbiev seems like a stylistic nightmare for him as well.
Many people have Mayweather in the top 40, Calzaghe seems to be in the top 100 hovering near the top quarter, Ward might make that if he gets a few more solid wins, none of this Smith ****.
