I had it 5-5 and 2 even plus Kovalev's knockdown. If you gave both the rounds I had even to Ward you could get 114-113 for Ward. It was a close fight.

Also, I kind of expect my #1 p4p to be more dominant than either of them were. I kind of want to just leave them both where they were ranked before, near the top of the p4p. Neither of them looked better than Chocolatito tonight.

 

i had trouble judging one round but a poster here has asked me to re-examine round 10 which ill gladly do once footage (clear) of the fight is available) id still have it to ward by 1 round though even if it changed

Whilst I agree with the first part I think in regards to the second part you have to remember these are two of the best fighters in the sport, so the fight was always going to be close. For me chocolatito as great as he is arguably lost his fight with Caudras but the difference is Ward/Kovalev are levels above Caudras p4p.

 

I was at the fight tonight, Ward clearly lost.

I heard so many people talk about what a bad decision it was, did not hear a single person say that Ward won.

I even talked with a few pro's and a commentator that all said that Kovalev got robbed!
