He'd have the power. :rofl So what the punches feel differently in Europe than in the US? The NHS makes him feel more secure and therefore he'll walk through shots he otherwised would have blocked/ducked? As for the K-Bros, they'll fight anywhere for the maximum amount of money, Vitali fought Arreola at the Staples Center, Adamek in Wroclaw, Poland. Lennox in Las Vegas. Fights happen where the money is, end of story.
In what we can fairly be described as a mega fight against Chad Dawson, Ward (in his hometown) sold only 7500 tickets in 17,000 seat arena. Froch against some B-level fighter sold 10,000 and packed Nottingham FM out. Ward is a fantastic fighter with amazing skills but the fact is he's boring to watch. No doubt about it. Just because a you're a great fighter doesn't make you an entertaining or interesting fighter (e.g Klitschkos being another fine example). Froch is very entertaining to watch because of his 'all-guns blazing' style. If Froch and Ward fought identical opponents on the same night then more people would watch Froch. FACT. Ward and his team obviously don't like the fact that they can't attract any big name fights when Froch can (talks or Bute and Kessler rematches in recent weeks). It's obviously nipping away at them so now Ward has started to act up a bit on Twitter. No surprise. As much a good, down-to-earth guy as he comes across as being, I honestly wouldn't watch any Andre Ward unless it was a rematch Froch. His style is just not good viewing.
Much rather watch Ward who looked spectacularly against Froch and Dawson than Froch crude caveman style. But thats why we produce Mayweathers and you produce Ricky Hattons.
and? Peter Manfredo has consistently outsold Tim Bradley in terms of seats but yet Tim makes much more money, why is that? to whom? Does he not have enough slobbering CHAV in his fighting style? seems to be But yet they outsell Froch This content is protected You have no idea what a fact is do you? Dawson is a nobody, you should fight the likes of Yusaf Mack. :nut Yes, nothing to do with the rematch clause Bute has nor the fact Kessler got in Froch's ass and took his title away from him. Also, Kessler's been bitching about a Ward rematch. Yep, he's acting up by responding to Froch fans crying about their dear savior being crucified in Atlanta City. And that's because you're not a boxing fan, you're a nuthugger. Move over Rachel, PaulieMc wants in on the Cobra dick.
He's a bad man.. This content is protected Ouch.. This content is protected Remember.. Near shutout. :deal There are levels of greatness, and as great as Froch is, Ward is a cut above. Atlanta, Oakland, Nothingham or the Moon, it don't matter. This content is protected
That can't be Ward. I'd stake my life on it. Must be a relative or someone paid to keep his social networking interesting.
ward is one of the best boxers out right now. i dont care what he tweeted about froch's he said he was watching hbo that night and so was the rest of the world that night. i just wish ward was not trying to fight pavlik. pavlik is my boy and i want to see pavlik as a champ again and ward will ruin that for him.
Funny! If froch was the unified champ, he'd have more power, in the sense that Carl and his team, would have more power in negotiations etc. As it stands, guys like Carl have to make concessions that Andre doesn't have to. Nearly all of Wlad's fights are in Germany. He's the champ. If he wasn't the champ, he wouldn't be able to fight in Germany as often as he does. He now has the power in negotiations. Fights do happen where the money is. 90 per cent of the time, that's in the U.S. The whole Super Six tournament was set up by an American tv network. The final was always going to be held in the U.S. Kessler and Froch knew from the outset that they'd have to travel for the fights. Guys like Ward don't have to travel. They're American, with American propmoters, fighting on American tv networks, in front of a huge PPV audience. That's the point. America is the home of boxing. Nothing will ever change that. Bruno, Hatton, Benn, Naz etc, etc all travelled to America. How many fights has Floyd had outside of the U.S.? He doesn't need to travel. It's the same with Andre. It would be nice if he did, but he really doesn't need to. Regards, Loudon.
As a froch fan: I would not see the rematch. Ward beat him fair & square pretty clear, excuses or no excuses. But i defiantly think he should avenge the Kessler L
