It would also be an amazing accomplishment if he beat Froch with his hands behind his back, or while under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs. Ward isn't some sort of a stunt man. He dominated Froch in Atlantic City before a tepid crowd. There was little suspense. It was one-sided.
Aura surrounding Froch when he fights in Nottingham. Like a 17 fight never been 12 round before Andre Dirrell schooled him and made him look poor despite fouling like takedowns and rabbit punching and needing a point deduction and bad judging to barely win an SD. What aura lol? See this is why American fans give you guys a hard time.
might as well say Ward shouldn't fight anymore... is fighting a shot Pavlik in Oakland raising Ward's profile more than beating a confident, comebacking Froch in his backyard? there ya go. don't forget the cards from the s6 finale, we all know Froch was dominated but he likes to refer to them when it's time to sell a Ward rematch to the media... what has Pavlik done at smw again?
Dirrell never took the fight to him, he had the potential to actually school him standing in the pocket making Froch miss, but he chose to get on his bike instead... way to go. I live in Buffalo btw.
And it gives you an indication of just how badly Ward would have to school Froch to get the W in Nottingham. Unlike in Atlantic City where Froch was the recipient of an absurd 113-115 scorecard - -5 rounds for Froch!
Ward doesn't have a crowd like that in Oakland. When he fought Dawson you couldn't hear any atmosphere or chanting, that's just Americans. Still, Froch took a risk and travelled to America, Ward has never taken that risk. Froch took care of the guy Ward wanted nothing to do with - they're number 1 and 2 in the division, let's get the rematch on, it'd much better than Ward v drained 168 Dawson, or Froch v Mack
"clearly" - i disagree... he won more rounds if you look at the compubox numbers, but if you put effective aggression first he didn't "clearly" win.
