Kessler and Abraham were the favorites going in, so not sure how you arrived at that conclusion. :smoke
Lets take a look at wards outclassing of kessler. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uDEBCoaR_lU ward draws more views on youtube than in person.
Id give Ward an A+ in intelligence, toughness, skills and athleticism. His defeat of Carl Froch was a complete domination of a great fighter and finished up a clean out of his division, once thought to be loadedso hes taken risks and made it to the mountaintop (I agree he needs to fight away from Oakland, but I think he will do so for the right fights). He has a mean streak, and he is reductive in his approach, but hes also a temperate, intelligent and admirable person. Much of his strength is just his strength of character. Hes still relatively young, though I also agree with those pointing out what a shame it is that he is not fighting but litigating. Hell be ready to take the PFP mantle when the time comes, and there will be a crop of opponents for him, GGG being one. I am a Golovkin fan too, but Ward is a more complete package, and just bigger. If Golovkin loses to somebody Ill figure he was bound to sooner or later, but if Ward does Ill be really surprised. Ward is better. I think hes the place the GGG train will stop
