If Ward was kind enough to tweet the news about the cut maybe he'd be kind enough to tweet an image of the cut too? Or is that too much to ask?

He's not getting his knee rebuilt. I would have thought the priority would have been to close the wound asap. I mean was it that bad a cut? Hopefully Showtime footage will tell us.

7 stitches so I'd imagine it was pretty bad. The priority was to make sure it was taken care of by the best (same person that did Vitali up after Lewis ripped his face open apparently)

The real reason Ward pulled out is because he heard Jane Couch would be in attendance, He is still traumatised by their first encounter.

Article from the scene containing Froch's reaction, maybe worth updating thread title. I'm sure this will get posted in a new thread.

Big shame this but for me it may be a blessing in disguise in that the postponment may give me the chance to watch it live, as I had other things on the original date.

Still disappointing but at least the fight will be even more exciting I suppose from an extra wait

Plus Showtime Are loving Froch, When Froch was fighting Johnson they constantly praised Froch with Ward sitting there next to em , then they said hes been in the best two fights of the Super Six. Ward must of been gringing!!!

Too right. It's hard to argue against Froch's fights being the most exciting of the tournament.
