Andre Ward deserves NO CREDIT for beating dawson He is a disgrace to the sport

Dawson knew his only chance to get the fight was at 168, and he probably knew he was going to lose before going into it. The reason they fought at Oakland was because that's were they can sell the most tickets. You can hate on Ward, but you're going to have to hate Dawson just as much.

Hopefully soon Ward starts fighting in Vegas.

 

Got to love a voice of reason, even if we sometimes disagree. While I can see people not loving the victory, the manner of victory, IMO, was impressive.

Of course, I'm not jumping Ward to P4P #1 based off Saturday, either. I'm a fan, but not a fan boy.

It is a good win. If not his best win. Technically, Dawson got outclassed.

At 175, I give Dawson a much better chance but not sure if Dawson still wins.

He deserves credit. Dawson called Ward out and said that he would fight him at 168. Nobodys fault but Dawson's

 

Ward's a ***** ***.

-Never moves up or down

-Forces his opponent to come up or down

-Never leaves his home town

 

Beating Dawson at 168 was not such a great feat for the slick Irishman. Ward needs to fight outside of his hometown and home country against Froch, Bute, Golovkin, Martinez, Chavez Jr. etc, no more weight drained LHW's, Ward is better than that and he needs to prove it.

 

Dawson asked to come down. Right after the Hopkins fight he said he wanted to come down and take Ward's belts at 168. Be careful what you ask for.
