No it's a completely different situation. I don't criticise Hearn for rating his fighters stupidly high, it's to be expected. I slate him when he comes out and calls Wilder a "keyboard warrior" and mocks him in so many other ways and then expresses shock when he can't sign him to a fight deal. As I said, this is a completely different situation. My interpretation of Tunde's behaviour recently is that I think he is trying to take the focus off of Yarde so he can fight almost with no pressure. Tunde is doing all the big talking, not Yarde. You can see that in this forum alone, with posts about Tunde become more frequent. With Hearn, David Haye put it best when he went on the apples and pears rant. Unlike Tunde, Hearn doesn't play to the cameras to take pressure away from his fighters, he does it because he craves the limelight so desperately. He's a promoter who should back his fighter but be more neutral when talking about other fighters because he needs them for his own business interests and we saw how badly that backfired this year with Wilder. Anyway, it's a shame you've brought Hearn into this. As I said, Tunde is a trainer whose interest lies with one fighter. He's making these dramatic statements because he knows the fans will latch onto it and direct their criticism towards him rather than Yarde. You can see from a mile off what he is trying to do here, although I concede that Tunde is a delusional man anyway.
