looked great. if u didnt like it, u dont like boxing. he displayed a beautiful jab. great defense, great combo punching, great ring generalship. he may not please casual fans but who cares he is a great fighter.
thats really is all he is missing. thats really the only reason he wont please casual fans. him against carl will create a star in the division. those are easily the two best imo.
Ward-Froch is just a semi-final (if Froch wins against Glen); the other one is Kessler-Bute. Or have you forgotten Kessler beating Froch?
Froch beat Kessler, but was robbed in Kessler's home town. Froch could have knocked Kessler out if he had gone for the kill. Bute will knock Ward out though. Froch or Johnson will give Ward Hell!
I thought Ward, by and large, fought very well tonight and scored it 10-2 for him. There were a couple things I didn't like seeing that I posted about in another thread (openings for the jab, predictable movement to get inside), but overall, he continued to show the intangibles and all-around skill that will make him tough to beat. If I were grading it like a paper, I'd give him a solid A-.
what about him? out on his feet from a c level fighter... if he was in the super six ward, kessler, froch and probably dirrell would have beaten. i think dirrell would be a good fight now because dirrells inactivity.
He's a ****ing nonce. Love how people neglect to mention how ****ing dirty he is and head-happy he is. Not to mention he doesn't understand what a ****ing break is.
maybe u didnt watch the fight, one headbutt that both caused. the ref gabe him no time «o work on the break so he whooped his ass by firing combos behind a great jab you obviously boxed and if u did u were one of those cry babys in the gym that hated sparring on the inside. nut up dude or find another sport.
