Andre Ward draws 323,000 thousand viewers on BET

    The idea that Andre Ward is the "A" side may have dissipated with the lackluster ratings for his return fight. The fight started after 11:00, so you can't argue that Porter v. Broner cut into those numbers.

    When you include the fact that popular rapper Nipsy Hussle was also performing his craft, it would seem like Jay Z took a financial bath in guaranteeing Ward $2M and HBO might be reticent to put him back unless he's facing a well-known opponent.

    that's ridiculously poor, and Jay Z gave him 2 million for it? damn jay must have lost a ton

    HBO wont have him near there show unless his fighting someone good, and even then I don't think he will get 2 million

    ya heard most of the tickets were given out for free

    what exactly was Jay Z source of income for this fight?

    I think its only a matter of time until Jay Z has promotional issues with ward, he will explain to ward that he is losing money hand over fist because no one wants to watch him and then ward will refuse to fight because he will think jay z is trying to screw him
