It isn't very hard to figure out what channel it is so I don't buy that excuse.

It was a comeback fight against a nobody on BET. You all care about draws when it comes to Ward, but when Floyd mentions it, you displaced Pac and Froch beaten by Ward fans flip the coin lol. Hypocrites...

Not great but about what you'd expect. Those numbers are comparable to a lot of ESPN Friday Night Fight and FS1 cards.

Ward is a more significant name than ESPN and FS1 get but those channels have a built in boxing history which BET doesn't.

When you factor in a major card on NBC as well as the Lemieux fight on FS2 at/around the same time then I think these numbers are in line with expectations.

Would have been 323,001 if not for my active boycott.

    Catchweight cherry-pick showcase, horrible undercard.

Let me spin your question around like Thoreau did to Emerson - why didn't you boycott it?

...especially given that Lemieux vs. N'Dam coincided with it???

Yeah because people tune it to BET all the time to watch a boxing match but yet the same person drew 1.3 million views on HBO against chad dawson. Yes it does matter what channel its on since more people are familiar with channels such as HBO, NBC, Fox and Showtime.

Do you think Pacman would get higher numbers fighting on HBO or nickelodeon??

It was on BET. When I heard that Ward was fighting instinctively checked HBO. Then I saw that PCB was on so watched that, but no Ward? Where was he?
It's good and bad that boxing is just sort of randomly scattered throughout these obscure channels now. Who would think to check for boxing on BET?

Uh, did you read the full report you pulled that figure from. HBO was not happy, it was one of the lower rated fights from that time period, and had a hefty price tag, which is why HBO and most everybody but BET passed on this fight. It was lower than GGG Stevens, if you keep wanting to go there. And GGG was barely hyped than.
