I think HBO will force him to find courage to fight a real LHW if he wants to headline a card. Of course, he would need to give a LHW opponent at least a 6 weeks notice or they will not be able to make 175.

 

Calzaghe didn't use any tuneups before moving up in weight and taking on the champ. Why can't Ward be a true champ like Joe :think

Rodriguez (170) and Smith(176) both missed weight so Ward has fought 2 LHW in his last 2 fights weight wise.

Those unofficial weights are mostly word of mouth. You call me I tell you a number and you print it. War weighs about 180 on fight night.
