All I am doing is addressing Wards claims that all big fights are in the usa and why he don't have to travel etc etc.. I am just pointing out the fact that he is not a draw and is not the cash cow of the division so it may be a good idea to jump on a flight and fight the winner of froch kessler in europe for big money somewhere... I really cannot see how you come to the conclusion that I am twisting anything by stating the truth about ward and his marketability?

I will break down the fight and how it pans out when Andre is actually up for it.. I have gone on record stating it would be closer against either froch or kessler in europe because the refs over here would stop ward from utilising his spoiling tactics.. They just don't allow for it over here and since both froch and kessler have fought ward in America it would be nice to see how Andre reacts to being taken out of his comfort zone for once.

In all honesty though I see ward as the winner but this still doesn't detract from the fact that there are no financial benefits for him to keep fighting in Oakland or any where in America, especially at 168. There is no interest in him.:good

So,apparently all he beat was two unskilled,talentless,out of shape Eurobums,if thats the case what makes him a P4P fighter ? Or was the TKO of a washed out weight drained Dawson at Wards weight class his career defining fight ?
Whatever way you look at it,its hardly impressive if these are the facts.Truth is he won a comfortable but very hard fought UD against Froch,and won a comfortable but controversial TKO against Kessler.Now also consider that Ward hasn't been tested,and hardly broke sweat beating all 3 (alledgedly),yet his body is falling to bits,its injury after injury.I've followed the fight game for almost 40 years and do not remember any fighter being so plagued by injury at such a young age.
He's an impressive fighter,with great handspeed and a very very good boxing brain,but he's simply not attractive to anybody except a purist.He'll never be a big draw,his style is not fan friendly,and he has no image that'll attract the occasional fight fan.
I think the three words that will describe Ward in 20 years time are coulda,woulda,shoulda.
Rightly or wrongly,Froch and Kessler are far more recognisable to the casual/occasional fight fan,and will no doubt make a lot more money.

Ward has a huge fanbase , anybody who says otherwise is lying. Every boxing fan on the planet tuned in to watch him fight Dawson. Only the biggest fighters in the US get 24/7 episodes .
It was the big fight live on Sky Sports who had their best commentators covering it.
Even Froch said a rematch with Ward in the UK would fill a stadium.
When Froch and Kessler are done they will both be after Ward for a big fight and payday because they wont be getting it anywhere else.
