Ward talks about both men more than they do him. Neither Froch or Kessler speak negatively about Ward. They both say he's a great fighter but that they think it'd be different if they fought in their backyards, which is what they have to say really. What do you expect them to say? That they'd get outboxed again? Both are proud warriors who rely heavily on mental strength and a belief that they'll get the victory no matter what.

Anyway, both are asked questions about Ward rematches and answer them honestly. Ward sits on twitter constantly posting about them. There is a big difference between the two scenarios.

 

And Ward isn't even big in the states.

Froch and Kessler will sell out the O2 Arena (23,000 i think) and i don't think Ward has ever even done a quarter of that.

They both talk as if he didn't beat them legitimately which is bull and only want him to travel so they have a better chance to beat him on home soil. Ward could sell out the o2 against Froch as well if he came over. The rematch with Ward will be bigger globally.

 

Kessler and Froch fans are really writing checks neither of them can cash.

Froch might fight Ward again, I doubt Kessler does. See Saurland and Hearn create a triangle around Bute, Froch and Kessler in between beating up cans. Dont expect to see either against a young strong fast champion again the the near future

One Froch/Kessler is done , their big money/ stadium fights are over.

 

I very much doubt that. It's entirely feasible they could have a third fight and the people of Nottingham would pay to see Froch fight pretty much anyone, same with Kessler in Denmark.

I also don't know if Froch vs Ward would sell out the O2. Certainly Kessler vs Froch II is a more anticipated rematch in the sport than either guy vs Ward.

 

Ward will finish his career as a possible 3-4 division champ, future ATG. What will Froch be?

As to why they are only getting 2 mil a piece to fight eachother. In career purses Ward has most likely made the same or more than Froch.

It is enough of a difference when you account for the fact that ward is number 1 in the division and couldn't earn **** all fighting the no:1 at 175 who also happened to be an american.. you know, a domestic showdown where neither fighter could sell out, let alone it be deemed ppv worthy..
