He had a fractured hand against Froch at the end of 2011, and he wasn't cleared to resume training until around February 2012.

He needs to get his a$$ in gear now though, he's wasting his prime.

 

1 fight and that was a Tomato Can in almost 3 Years...should not give Him the Son Of God Mantle...True Boxing Fans can see he is all smoke and Mirrors....needs to step up to the plate and get active and fight someone with a Pulse....He is rising 32 Years Old now and has try to gain some credibilty before He retires.!!!

 

Even if he does fight kovalov he will pull an injury half way through the fight..his a very dishonest person...

 

All of Ward's fights are mismatches, because he never fights anyone with speed.

part of his three fight deal with HBO includes a fight with kovalev.he could always fake an injury to get out of a fight with kovalev I guess.if he tries something like that I hope HBO sues the shi t out of him.:deal

 

Ward has tried to get two unproven super middleweights and 1 very good middleweight in the ring even though he is campaigning at light heavyweight. No luck so far. Maybe he should try his luck with a jr middleweight instead?
