People need to understand it's not GGG who's not ready for Ward. Ward is not ready for GGG, obviously. This is one of the many reasons team GGG does not take Ward seriously right now, because Ward isn't even taking his own career seriously.

He's supposedly signed a three fight deal with HBO, that includes a Kovalev fight. So he's going to have to step up his competition very soon.

he doesn't seem to want to. I suspect he will try and take on 2 bums for 2 million a piece then when the time comes to face kovalev , everyone will get sued

I feel kinda bad for ward. Hopefully he finds a good WORTHY opponent that would be a fair match soon. His career can't afford any more inactivity...

(No ggg nuthuggers I'm far from a ward fan but I still feel for these bros)

Ward made a terrible decision with signing with Roc Nation. He should have signed with Haymon but he decided to take the large stack that Roc Nation put in front of him. He made a lot of loot but his ability to secure top fights was compromised.
Something tells me that by next year Ward will be back in court trying to get out of his contract due to non-performance and try to sign with Haymon.

So you don't feel bad for men who became addicted to drugs and lost/losing everything? You don't feel bad for Lamar Odem?

LOL. Why you think they call it Dope?
Drugs are serious business, and if you take them from just anyone you can get that bad stuff made in Israel, The Ukraine or Russia that will put you in a coma.
    Lamar has no brain. None.

    Good call.

Not hard to predict though considering he sued Goosen so he could sign with Haymon and switch to Showtime.:think

Ward didn't pick the fighter but the man was ranked #6 by the WBO, Willie Monroe was ranked #8 by the WBA so that only tells me that Ward's skill level is respected more than GGG's. Plus Ward is moving up. I applaud the decision but it's a decision that should be made more often and for a lot of different fighters. For instance, Quillin and Zerafa. Total mismatch.
