ward has a resume and a 19 month layoff.....ggg is fighting b- level cans one after another...its the same as cotto being 33 with 34 fights fighting urkal and branco over and over....yet somehow ggg is an atg in your eyes........we dont need to defend ward....hes an elite, a level, fighter and hes proved that....you guys are the ones feeling the heat because ggg hasnt done anything...you guys keep trying to make gggs opposition out to be something that it isnt

How does a B- level fighter = A can, that would mean 75% of fighters = cans... take Ward out of the equation, who should Golovkin fight?

 

he should fight ward....why are we taking him out of the equation? ggg is fighting a guy that lost to rubio and alcine in his next fight.....does he need more tuneups? hes been active and fighting tuneups for basically his entire career....

im sure your response has somethign to do with going up in weight and how ggg doesnt need to yadda yadda...he needs to unify first yadda yadda....ward is bigger and not enough of a draw yawwwwnnn

My response was, Ward wants another tune up, there's been talk from him but there's also been talk he's demanding a tune up... Golovkin has secured a PPV against an easier fighter to beat at his weight but also an exciting fighter. He won't give up the same weight advantage to fight Ward because he is harder to beat than Froch/Chavez and the money will be significantly lower thus risk/reward is not enough to warrant it (Which is hypocritical of Team GGG when they claim nobody wants to fight him. It's understandable though as he wants Canelo or Cotto then I'm sure he'll fight Ward once he has that payday and belt). Everybody wants Mayweather, who is as hard to beat as Ward, because his reward is gigantic vs the risk of a points loss. I respect Froch because he says he doesn't want to fight Ward again because he'll lose on points so he wanted all the advantages of Nottingham or no fight.

 

why? froch had been talking about it for awhile now....he might have chosen it even if ggg wasnt in the picture....

if you wanna think ggg scared froch into retirement then go ahead....but just dont call it crazy...its not like froch is young for the sport and not on the verge of it anyway

Ward is going to make 168 in his next fight. He has said that he wants a tune up at that weight just in case his body has trouble he doesn't want to be stuck in the ring with a killer. Its understandable considering the situation he put himself in.

ward has fought at least a dozen world class, and is 3years younger.

any belittling of ward using 3g is basically a surefire fail. don't try it.
