I guess Frazier would also be a exception.

Ward isnt getting the mainstream hype because the mainstream doesnt give a **** about Boxing.Ward's timing was off by about a decade.

Hoya and Leonard both won gold during a time when Boxing was way more popular and on MAINSTREAM TV.

Ward has some serious work to get to champ level. He's good, but he needs refinement in certain areas. Right now the guy is a work in progress.

That's how I saw it too. He recovered well and in the few fights of his I've seen he's looked damn good. Guys who are really slick stylists tend not to get hit as often and it seems when they do they're so surprised it catches them off balance.

As far as his power the one time I saw him live he knocked the guy out with a single punch.

"watch out for holt man thats all i gotta say. Lets see who jumps the bandwagon later on. dont worry i got these posts logged. its gonna be fun trust me. i watched enough boxing in my life to know talent when i see it and his counterpunching is world class stuff. and i did see that fight 2 years ago when he got starched, the fact he rebounded off of that to beat arounatis and torres and david diaz speaks volume about his heart and head. And yes, he beat torres in my eyes despite what the record says."

Who is this Holt you were talking about back in 09-05-2007? Is he "world class"?

:) I'm just pulling your leg man. Great foresight!

I am a huge rated R fan and he still will clean that division out. Even on his bad night he layed out bradley twice. I dont even think he got hurt once. He will come back.
