Andre Ward Greatest SMW?

I think greatness can only be judged from opponents and Ward has yet to beat a top prime SMW.
Wards best win is unwell, rusty, double vision suffering Kessler, who had been beaten by the old end of career previous champ. The division is just not that strong at the moment. Froch is getting on and Ward didnt fight Bute, losing what would have been his biggest fight.
Wards resume is nowhere near as strong as previous SMW champs Eubank, Calzaghe or Ottke. In fact I think S Collins SMW resume is arguable even with so few title fights when you think he had 2 wins over Eubank and 2 wins over Benn. I just couldnt imagine Ward being able to beat some of the SMWs of yesterday in Eubank, Collins, Calzaghe, Benn, Jones and am not convinced he would have beat a few others.

 

How do you work that out?

Bika would probably be one of Wards top 5 wins and he wouldnt be a top 5 for Calzaghe
