andre ward has the most ugliest styles ever

Before people have a go at you i believe your right about crossing over, he be a fine champion and one of best in world but he lacks personality as a fighter/man to be a star but i doubt he'll care he's a fighters fighter. Not a Floyd..

Edit: Personality as fighter is me basically saying he just lacks that amazing parts of his game. He likes to do his work then back off. Just doesn't impress casuals IMO.

 

Not for me. Great fighter incredibly talented at all aspects of the game even the dark side of it. If he had the power he would be a star. He won't cross over to the casual fans in my opinion

Good to watch as a boxing fan IMHO but not really a style for the mainstream.

 

But why is a style like that appeal to a purist. I'm not a "mainstream fan" and i know a lot of people who ain't who also think his style tonight was ugly. People think just because they out slick and score wide points its a "good" style. Ward is an ugly fighter. Miss with the jab, go in with the head to the body, tie up land short shots. Sky absolutely rimmed him from the opening bell tonight, sure it wins fights and someone like Froch will have trouble against him, but sport is also about entertainment. What I saw tonight was an "ugly" style.

No headbutts tonight. Must have found it hard to say something negative about him. I'm sure that's what you were banking on. Ward is gonna get the Wlad (boring) treatment by people like you who can't accept that he's the best. Always gotta look for a negative angle.

 

He didn't "tie up" until the last couple of rounds when the fighters were tired and it got a bit messy.

 

From the impression I get, Ward couldn't give a fiddler's fart,

 

I respect guys with skills, ward has those skills. he's not quite on floyd's level but he employs the blueprint with a propensity for fighting on the inside. he's a great fighter in the making.

 

There's a certain post in this thread that has me rather pissed off(I'm sure you can guess).

I've been rather nice the last few weeks, and haven't shown my supposed ''pendantry''. But eftkdive, I am EXTREMELY close to opening a can of whoop ass on you, jabroni. You even forced Slip to use a sad emoticon..........
