He's said something aloing the lines of "I'm here to win Fighter of the Year not Fight of the Year"

Sums his attitude up as a fighter. He wants to win and that's it.

That's the cleanest I've seen Ward fight which just made me appreciate his ability even more tonight. He dominated the fight in every way. Great to see a fighter who uses his head more than anything he was always looking to make his opponents strengths his weakness's. Not too many fighters can do that let alone do it while looking good himself.

Spot on! He's supremely gifted in all facets of Pro Boxing. I find it amazing that such a decorated amateur can be so gifted in the 'dark arts' after 20 odd fights

    floyd gives it the same.

    he's had a few stinkers.

but the distinction is we know he can turn it on and deliver that star quality.

ward has shown none of that so far.

    he's a winner.

but that's all he is. :yep

The only thing which ruined my viewing tonight was that Ward is too good.

    Great performance.

You know Ward will probably never be THAT well known here unless he fought more Brits i.e. Degale/Groves (in 18/24 months) or hell even Calzaghe. However, in America they love a winner and they love the whole religion angle - if he keeps winning he'll become a mainstream star in the US.

He did throw an obvious one actually, more of a straight clear nod than throwing and following with the head.

Still, credit to both men, they were both happy with it all, they must have agreed pre fight and credit to the ref for letting it all flow.

Thought he looked excellent and it was refreshing to see the fighters be allowed to fight out of clinches for a change. Slick and smart performance from Ward.

Great quote. Too much smothering to ever be pleasing to casual fans. I can't see anyone to beat him till he's past it really.

His style isn't my cup of tea in all honesty but Its very effective, he does everything well and has very few flaws, he could go a long way in the sport.

As ridiculous and ignorant an opinion as 'Ward is boring'.
