Look at Eleider Álvarez. He just followed Ward blueprint and he knocked Sergey Kovalev out just like Ward.

Ward clearly has superb ring IQ and has shown he can adapt mid fight at times when needed. He's a very versatile fighter but to say he has the highest ring IQ is a stretch to say the least. It's not like he had to out smart and break down anyone who could be regarded as a boxing genius, technical master or strategic genius. He had to deal with Kessler, Froch, Dawson and Kovalev. It's not like he had to go up against a Leonard or a RJJ, or a Hopkins, or a McCallum or Toney.
Said it wrong not alot i meent few andre ward very high boxing IQ but there are Some with higher boxing IQ’s not alot people have higher boxing IQ than ward
Yeah amazing,basically worked out in big fights that he could smother,hold n wrestle for twelve rounds in the knowledge that he was allowed to. Thank goodness nobody else has such IQ or else boxing would be dead.
He has a high ring IQ, not the highest though. I think of this generation, Mayweather is unquestionably the highest and clearly, as a result, higher than Ward. Guys I would also credit with higher of his generation of fighters; Wlad, Rigo, Lomachenko (maybe debatable whether he is his generation), B-Hop (before anyone mentions it, I do think Ward is a better fighter than B-Hop, but this is purely about Ring IQ - there are other attributes) Guys who are working towards it but below him for now would be Mikey Garcia, Usyk, Terence Crawford.
