You really have no idea what Southern California is like. Assuming this fight comes off, I am expecting just as many Abraham fans as Ward fans. And honestly, I see this fight ending one of two ways, Andre winning easily by decision or Abraham knocking him out. So the only way the ref really comes into play is if he starts throwing punches.

 

And unfortunately, in the professional ranks, Abraham has had more fights in Germany than Ward has had in California. I'm not being critical, I like Abraham. A fact is a fact though. To be critical of Ward for one thing while the guy your supporting is worse at it, forms the basis of an illogical argument.

Abraham has just as much of chance of winning a decision in Germany as Ward does in America. See how that works? It's totally ridiculous that Ward hasn't had to fight outside America in this tournament. Whoops! Abraham has almost no chance of outpointing Ward. Your last sentence is clearly a defense-mechanism because he's right. Of course, Ward shouldn't get to always fight in America. He should go fight in Germany or somewhere else in Europe... but honestly it's not going to matter. AA KO or Ward decision is the only way this fight can really go.

 

Fight takes place in Germany. Ward uses his head as he's prone to do. German ref takes a point. Abraham scores a couple of flash knockdowns in the fight. That's three points already. Because the fight is in Abraham's home country, he gets a few swing rounds. See how this works? Same thing applies when the fight is in Ward's back yard. Don't keep trying to say "Of course Ward should fight outside of his country, BUT". There is no "But" here.. There should be neutral judges and officiating at the VERY least and Abraham isn't even going to get that opportunity from the sounds of it.

I don't understand why Showtime doesn't just give the tourney to Ward right now, since they've set it up on a silver platter.

You realize the LA area has the highest Armenian population in the country? I can guarantee that part of the reason who Abraham & CO accepted the fight there. Ward on the other hand doesn't have a fanbase in LA. In terms of crowd support it will likely be in favor of Abraham.
