And if you think I'm taking Ward's side, I'm not. Just saying, given their recent purses I believe Ward will ask for more than $2 million and a higher split than Kovalev. And I honestly can't blame him at this point, given their purse history, I would do the same.

On the flip side, I personally believe that a) Kovalev should receive a higher purse and b) Ward has over valued himself and Kovalev has been under valued by HBO.

But given the FACTS, I cannot blame Ward if he asks for more.

That's my biggest concern, since winning the Super 6, Ward has been side lined on 3 occasions due to injuries. He's clearly injury prone and it wouldn't shock me at all if he picked up another one next year, which just makes those times when he is injury free even more crucial in regards to staying active.

Yes you can't but hbo won't give that money to ward anymore. Roc nation will have to pay ward his extra money out of there own pocket and once someone at roc nation realises there losing a lot of money they could stop giving ward more than his worth and ward will sue

Possibly. Roc Nation, by the way, did the standard business gamble. They can afford to take a loss on Ward in their initial investment in hopes it pays off. Ward has potential, plenty of it, financially. At 175 there's a ton of compelling fights that could sell big. Roc Nation saw this and pulled the trigger. Can't be successful if you don't take risks.

There isn't really many fights at all when you think about it? Who at 168 or 175 is there for him to fight? And they won't make money off him because if he does become a bigger name he will just want more money and bleed them dry

You don't want to see Ward fight Kovalev, Stevenson, Pascal, Beterbiev? There's plenty of options.

Adonis and beterbiv are no goes both with haymon there isn't a hope they fight

Kovlaev yes. Pascal will be journeymaned or retired in his next fight

That's debatable, I'll believe it when I see it though. I won't just assume Ward will bleed them dry, put them in the negative, and sue.

It's what he tried to do to a sick dieing man who did wonders for his career . think he will even show that loyalty to roc nation?

I don't think he does them numbers mate. I think he will sue roc nation the minute they stop risiculosuly over paying him

Whatever career choices he makes and believes are best for him is for no one else to judge aside from him. If he feels his situation is not financially up to his standards, is he supposed to just live with it because his promoter is sick?

If I find a better job/opportunity, should I not quit and pursue that because my boss is dying and needs my help at work?

My point is, the well-being or health of his promoter is irrelevant. It didn't stop his promoter from fighting back.
