Andre Ward " I am not gonna chase these guys"

Word. Boxing is a global sport now with Britain, Germany, Russia and even Canada showcasing top fights by fighters from various nations. Fighters are no longer dependant on U.S. Fan interest or revenue. Froch and Groves filled up a huge stadium and the K-bros fill up 60,000 seat soccer stadiums in Germany and Russia. Ward needs to get his passport updated. He needs Froch more than the other way around. Froch, Chavez would be huge especially with the Hispanic fan interest. Froch is going to be a very wealthy man.

 

that's your prerogative...some ppl like watching "C" class fighters beat the crap out of each other. checkers. i like chess.

 

He doesn't have to chase anyone, but he should stay active and fight somebody. It doesn't have to be Froch or Golovkin or Kovalev. But he's not doing himself any favours by fighting once a year.

 

he was supposed to fight pavlik last year. pavlik retired....ward saw it as an opportunity to repair an injury he's had for years. he made his successful comeback last november. he's trying to get out of his contract. he's willing to fight...goosen is to blame.

 

Only die-hard Ward nut huger are crying about people not clamoring to fight him. No one cares about Ward. The 168 lb weight class has continued without him.

You don't have to chase anyone champ.
Keeping suing your promoter and fighting once every 2 years in Oakland.

Fact: Brittards/EE supporters never ever keep him out of their mouths. Ward will be relevant as long as Froch/Kessler/GGG/Stevenson/Kovalev are fighting. He is the king. :hi:

Stevenson called out ward live on hbo, but ward refused to even answer him, so who is doing the chasing? Ward is running like hell....................ward also said that kovalev is too big for him...............Stevenson will fight Ward at 168. but Ward ran away..............

 

Ward needs to do some chasing cause he can't draw beer from a keg. In any fight against GGG, STevenson, Kovalev, Ward is the one NOT bringing in the cash; is NOT the one folks want to see. LOL He is done.

 

Ward is irrelevant. Nobody give a **** about him.

 

All those at MW & SMW want to be Andre Ward, but none of them have the skills to beat him.
They can call him boring.
They can spread rumors that he is retired.
They can talk as much nonsense as they like, because that is all they can do.
They still can't beat him.
