It's just typical boxer speak, like how we heard Bellew could beat Stevenson and how Cleverly could beat Kovalev atsch Fighters have to believe they can beat anyone, it's part of the sport. Klitschko is waaayy too big for Ward and he acknowledges this indirectly by saying "it's all about finding the right HW." In any case, could you imagine how dull Ward vs Klitschko would be? atsch think I'd rather drink bleach.
Nobody is ducking mora other than networks and viewers. Also you're right no one is ducking GGG at 168. Do you think Sturm, geale or Murray are willing to fight him?
Of course they are. They'll fight him under the right circumstances. Just like Golovkin will only fight guys under the right circumstances. These guys are professionals.
Ward claiming that he would knock both Klitschkos out.................so let's see Ward fight Vlad after Vlad fights he mandatory, they can fight in Switzerland where they can have 65,000 fans live at ringside. Ward has never drawn that many fans....................Ward can't knock Vlad out, no way at all, plus, Ward will never fight Vlad. Ward is a legend in his own mind...............
Ward is a spoiled brat. Ward is used to getting everything his way. In Ward's own tournament he was the only boxer who never had to travel, always had his home turf, his referee, judges, boxing commission and word is that he would not allow Bute to fight in the tournament. Bute, at that time, was a good fighter, so Ward did not want any competition. Kessler had to travel all the way to Ward's home town. Ward headbutted, held, used his elbows, low blows, but the big headbutt was the one that came from across the ring, an obvious intentional headbutt, illegal and should have been disqualified, but Ward's referee appeared to feel that illegal, intentional headbutts were legal if it is Ward who is doing the headbutting, that is how a referee can help out the home town boxer............. As far as Ward beating Vladimir Klitschko..................let's see that fight right after Vlad fights his mandatory.................let Ward put his fists where his mouth is. Vlad would knock Ward out easily, no contest, none at all..........
I honestly don't think I would. The possibility of history and legacy being made is secondary to my entertainment and this match-up would be one to forget. Not that it's even a realistic possibility of course as if Ward ever decides to leave Oakland Klitschko will be long retired.
