It's not disrespectful, however, it's stupidly overconfident.. Saying stuff like this makes one look extremely silly, it's best left unsaid too because I bet you if Klitschko called him out on it, he would backtrack very quickly.

 

He still has a year until he's 32 to grow into a full size man and challenge Wladdy. :!:

It is disrespectful. Overconfident is one thing, but to saying something that is obviously impossible is showing lack of respect towards the champion. I doubt that even Ward himself believes that he could really beat Wladimir (to be honest I'm not even sure if he actually said such thing), and even if he was crazy enough to think that, it's still not appropriate to say it.

Look, even The RING Magazine believes Ward would beat Wlad. They have Ward much higher on their P4P list. The Ring Magazine was first published in 1922, they know boxing.

Look, the difference in punching power between SMW and Heavyweight is immense, just imagine how much harder Ward is going to punch as a heavyweight? And we all know Wlad has a glass jaw.
