Andre Ward: "I Think Mayweather Is Going To Dominate (Alvarez)"

    From another site which I'm not sure it's ok for me to link to. Site that isn't CatHouse Boxing, but similar.

    I feel the same way Ward does about this bout. I wish I was more excited, but every time I think Canelo has a chance, I remember him being outboxed early in the fight with Alfonso "The Contender" Gomez. Then such thoughts quickly fade away. And the catchweight likely won't do Alvarez any favors, either.

    So, I'm with Ward. Easy Mayweather victory and possibly a Mayweather stoppage.

    Do you agree with Andre Ward or do you think the fight will be more competitive?

    Yeah, I can't see Alvarez doing much. That Gomez fight just sticks in my mind.

    Would love to see a great bout, but I don't think this will be it. We'll find out soon enough.

    He's be carefully brought up and he has a nation behind him. He's going to lose because everyone loses to Floyd. He will move on and still makes a ton of money. Then end.

    Glad you mentioned that. Here's what I really think. I have been thinking about buying that PPV fight for $75, but why should I, or anyone buy this fight when all experts say that Alvarez has zero chance? So, are the experts telling us not to buy this fight? If so, should we listen to them?

    If I do buy this fight it will be to watch Matthysse/Garcia fight, not the pure mismatch..............

    I'm with Andre on this one. If Alvarez can win 4 rounds clearly, I'd consider it a moral victory. It still can be a valuable learning experience for him, though.

    Can't believe you guys in the States are being charged $75.
    That's too much.

    We're lucky in the UK, only costing us about $17 for the boxing channel and that's per month, not just this fight

    I agree. I think 3-4 rounds is the upper limit of how many Alvarez could possibly win.

    I am predicting a dominating performance by Floyd who will stop Canelo in the last quarter. I agree with Andre Ward and you.

    Just re-watched the Mosley-Canelo fight - Canelo is so flat footed, I think we'll see the old Floyd where he hits and moves
