Froch has already fought Groves. Ward had a tough fight with Froch but a rematch in the UK hasnt happened

Ward Froch 2 needs to happen but in no way do I see Ward traveling to the UK especially after seeing the stoppage with Groves!

Groves would give Ward a good fight but it's the wrong move for Groves at the moment. He needs to try and get a rematch with Froch but I can't see Froch accepting. Maybe a match up with Bika.

Because it was a clear win, it's clear who is better and a rematch is pointless?

Rematches where it could go either way (Froch vs Groves) maybe, but Ward vs Froch isn't like that. Froch would be a huge underdog and for good reason, everybody knows Froch has almost no chance.

I am sure Groves can't wait for this....

He gets to fight Ward in Oakland, replete with his own personal ref and judges. If Groves thinks the referee and judges were against him in his fight with Froch he has not seen nothin' yet.

Certainly the short money purse he will get for the honour of being headbutted and elbowed for 12 rounds would make it worth his while? Especially considering how the State of California will take like 10% off the top and then the U.S. Gubmint will take an even bigger cut.

Surely Groves will break an ankle running to sigh up for that deal.:patsch

Most of you people are so short sighted it is laughable.:lol::lol:

Yes, the problem with SOB Ward is that he refuses to fight anywhere except his home town, with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, commentators, etc., Ward was the only one who did not have to travel in his tournament...........

Any update on this? Can Ward sign for a fight right now or is he tied up in court for a while? How long?!

Froch OTOH can fight Chavez Jr for a big payday, Groves II for a big payday, Bika or Dirrell on Showtime if he's not bound contractually to HBO, even Golovkin if he moves up would generate some buzz in the summer/fall...

...that said, Froch-Groves II is my pick. Maybe Ward can settle all that lawsuit **** and then fight the winner of that rematch while he waits for Golovkin to get Martinez to fight him.

...would consider? Stieglitz aside, nothing else makes any sense whatsoever.
