You beat the SOB Ward that always has to have his personal referee, boxing commission, judges, etc., for every fight?! SOB is a cheater, who has he ever beaten? BIKA, Abraham, Kessler, by intentional illegal headbutt, and Froch who is as slow as a turtle? Abraham was a 160 lb. fighter, very short, Bika lost and wide punches, Froch wide punches, slow, Kessler not so good either, all had to fly to Ward's home town, with Ward's personal referee, judges and boxing commission...............then Ward fought Barrera who can't fight, very slow with wide punches and his last fight against a midget who can't fight at all, an unknown fighter.....................now Ward will once again get his personal referee, judges and boxing commission when he fights Kovalev...................Kovalev will have to knock Ward out to get a draw..................

What does "every detail was 50/50" even mean?

50/50 on network? Location? Gloves? Ring size? Sounds like BS to me.

Other than money and perhaps weight [50/50 being 164? (which I seriously doubt Ward could make)], I don't see how most details could be split.

    Please, show everyone the email.

Man every black fighter has a ****ing commission behind them according to you. Didn't Lomachencko have a lot of help ranking him ahead of 10 other guys to get a title shot he had not earned? How many *****s get that type of love, huh?

He said 50/50, including weight. I find that really hard to believe because when these talks were in the works I doubt Ward was even sure if he could make 168, let alone 164.

And for everyone who doesn't think Ward would ever make **** up (everything below is a quote from an old Serge post):

And here he is at it again, lying through his teeth about what happened when Darnell Boone dropped him. Start watching at 9:38 and the bit about the Boone KD is 10:32

''The first big moment was when I got knocked down. It was probably my ninth or tenth fight. It was against a guy named Darnell Boone. That's when I realized I was really a professional prize fighter. It was real. I had a lot of amateur tendencies. Like, for example, referee would say break, I would respect that command. My coach was telling me, Stop relaxing inside. And I was beating this guy from pillar to post. He's an old veteran. Everything to gain. Nothing to lose. Referee said break and I looked at him—boom—he hit me with a shot I never saw. Sitting in my hotel room that night, talking to my wife, I said, This is serious. This is really prize fighting. This isn't a joke anymore. If I have anything to do with this, it'll never happen again. And it hasn't.''

So Boone clipped you as you were looking at referee after he said break? Er. but that's not what happened at all, Dre. ''Be honest with the fans'' The ref called break when the two of you weren't even in a clinch and you'd just rattled off 5 shots and were in the process of ducking Boone's counter attack, at which point he caught you with the uppercut that dropped you when you were supposedly looking at the ref?

Definitely NOT 50-50, GGG would bring most of the money.
    This ain't charity.

I'm not sure why this is still an issue. You say, GGG gets a pass for this, but honestly, this is one of the most talked about situations in boxing. What pass is GGG getting?

I think most reasonable, objective boxing fans, (if such a thing exists), believe that Ward would beat GGG. At this point, the fight is simply not viable.

We need to move on as boxing fans. While I think the fight would be interesting because you have to PFP fighters squaring off, I think the result of the fight is a given. There just isn't really an intrigue. Ward wins this fight. He's too big, too strong, and too skilled.

However, Canelo vs GGG in my opinion is 50/50. The problem is that Canelo is ducking the fight.

Why on earth would Golovkin accept a 50-50 fight against someone who can't even sell out his home crowd?
What weight, too? 168lbs? What an awful offer.

This is a good point too, but because GGG would likely lose this fight, which would probably diminish his earning potential. However, at the same time, you could consider this a legitimate duck.

I mean, when Mayweather turned down Margarito after Margarito embarrassed him in public, was it not a duck? Of course it was. So GGG calling out Ward and then not accepting terms could be considered a duck. If GGG was absolutely confident about beating Ward then a 50/50 agreement would not be out of the question as it would certainly boost his career standing.

Either way, this fight is now not viable. I'm not sure why people continuously discuss this. It's time to move on. Ward is at 175 and it's likely he will stay there. GGG is not moving up anytime soon.

This reminds me of the situation w/ Pacquiao and Mayweather. Mayweather's team claimed that they had an email from Team Pacquiao asking what would happen if Pacquiao tested positive. Funny, you publicly accused the man of doping, but didn't release the email?

Same thing here. Show the email or STFU.
