Give him a break man. It's the heat of the moment right after a war vs Kovalev. Im sure your always perfect mate. Ward is one of the most well spoken and knowledgeable boxing people out there. If he came back and was more active he is a no brainer P4P #1. Why the Ward hate?

No fighters admit to being the beneficiary of a robbery so not sure what the OP wants Ward to say.

He lost the fight in the eyes of most people. He got the decision from the people that matter. We can debate that until the cows come home nothing will change people's views.

What I find sad is a lot of the people angry with Ward about it would happily have seen Ward lose by robbery just like so many people who scored for Ward would reverse their scores if their guy was on the other side.

 

Its his droopy eye lids, nobody likes that, its like he dont care enough about others to bother lifting his eyelids up when he speaks to you.

His droopy eye lids probably evolved from centuries of lying to others pretending to look stupid instead of decietful.

Just because he is good. He has done 5x more than any fighter they can cheer for and that makes them angry. Like certain baseball fans were when integrated baseball players started breaking records once held by Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb.

That is always the solution. You ALWAYS fight at the same pace or higher frequency of your enemy. History has taught mankind this lesson over and over again.

This is funny as ****. Its like he slants his head back instead of opening his eyes properly. Not always like it either. I think the twat lays it on a bit thinking he looks cool. Whatever anyway, it grates me.

Ward's spoken numerous times about having been dropped by Boone, most notably on the Showtime Staredown program in 2011. I doubt he'd choose such an easily checkable subject to intentionally lie about, especially given that he's never shown any reluctance to talk about the incident. This comment was an oversight, coming immediately after a titanic struggle in which he took the most punishment of any fight in his career.

On the thread topic... Ward is one of the sleaziest people in the sport. And KNOWS he lost that first fight with Sergey and had to resort to illegal tactics in the second fight.
