A little false,if anything Ward is more higher but they really are on the same level.
Ward fighting Miranda is a good fight.

**** NO, it's the other way around....dirrell opens up a lot more, so he might seem like the better fighter...but overall, dirrell is a few steps behind ward

both guys, i think, stand to gain little by hammering away on shaky competition, looking good in televised bouts against sub-par competition. dirrell seems the favorite going into such a matchup...but i would like to see it.

I have to see more of both against credible competition before I can put one above the other. But Dirrell is definitely more talented.

dirrell seems as though he is likely to plateau because his style is so unorthodox and requires such precision and control that if he doesn't have prime roy jones-type athleticism, reflexes, calm, timing, concentration and good fortune...his style can come undone and leave him hugely open. that leaves some huge 'if's' haging. i mean, i am a big fan of dirrell...and still i have to admit that. he seems ripe for some difficulty as he gets closer to elite athletes and battle, hardened, grinder-type vertans who have seen it all and won't be impressed to the point of giving up and being intimidated by his speed, strength and raw talent.

ward, on the other hand, is much more workmanlike, much more aware of the steps and stops on the path in front of him in each fight, based on a realistic progression of skills based more on work and discipline and less on natural athleticism and swarming flash and momentum. ward probably climbs higher, eventually, for that very reason...because, i fear, despite having huge reservoirs of natural talent, dirrelll doesn't quite have that supreme stuff that carried guys like roy jones over their fundamental flaws and into the history books.

no ****ing way. ward is about 10 notches above dirrel. the matrix cannot handle pressure for ****. watch him against hanshaw, he crumbled in the first round. ward handles those situations way better. I think ward learned alot from his knockdown. Ward has better skills, power, defense, intelligence, everything. basically it comes down to this. Put your money on ward.
