Barrera has nothing to trouble Ward with.

- He's not a pressure fighter
- He's not a power puncher
- He loops his punches
- His footwork is mediocre
- His jab is slow...really slow

Ward will have a field day with this guy. Barrera is lucky he's not fighting Kovalev; he'd get knocked into next month. He's a decent all-around fighter, but there is really nothing special about him. He's probably worse than many of Ward's previous opponents.

Ward will walk him down, get inside his slow looping shots and punish him with the left hook.

5. Bute KTFO Andrade, finishing his HBO obligation and SIGNED on with Showtime for the EXPRESS PURPOSE of inclusion into the S<6 tournament, where as a matter of CONTRACT, all remaining participants would have to sign off on Bute's participation.
6. All the remaining participants signed off on his entry EXCEPT ONE.
7. The SOLE HOLD-OUT was NONE OTHER than Ward.
8. After BOYCOTTING Bute's participation, Showtime offered Ward a career high payday to fight Bute to become the UNDISPUTED SMW Champion of the World.

This is rather a moot point because Bute simply wasn't that good.
