Andre Ward is boring has not got any special qualities

Actually, he has the most important quality for a boxer: the ability to understand who has the style to beat you.

 

The most special quality in boxing is the ability to win and he has that in spades.

 

Dre is a master boxer and a jack of all trades. A less flashy A- version of Floyd with the competitiveness of Michael Jordan. Please review film of said fighter before engaging in conversation about them.

 

So you don't like boxing, but are discussing it on a forum dedicated to it? Lazily at that. If you enjoy boxing Floyd and Dre are boxing porn. If you're a hypebeast you may find them boring though.

 

I cannot take a guy or his thread serious when he cannot even spell "special". Read a booka booka and then come back to me.

 

I am no fan of Andre Ward but to say he has no special qualities is wide of the mark.

His inside game and foot speed are elite, rarely gets caught flush and his subtle upper body movements and ability to smother his opponents is the best of all active boxers IMO

Is he exciting to watch hell no but to say he's not a world class P4P boxer is well wide of the mark.

 

Yet another reason why you don't know **** about boxing. Ward is arguably the most complete boxer in the sport. He can fight at all ranges with good defense and a high ring iq. Ward is a very smart fighter skills win fights boring is subjective skills aren't.

 

It's funny how Ward is just good yet he's won an Olympic gold and cleared out a division by the age of 30 and moved up to challenge for supremacy in another division, yet Golovkin is apparently amazing yet is well past 30 still pottering at MW and with only a silver medal. You're a walking contradiction.

 

Power =/= greatness. Ask the George Foreman that fought Ali that. Technique and skill always wins.
