Andre Ward is boring has not got any special qualities

I wouldn't say he has no special qualities, but yes he can get boring because he and his trainer don't want to be reckles, and will do the bare minimum number of punches needed to win. He's been inactive and I'll give him that, and also he said that he could've done more last night. What he did yesterday won't beat Kovalev, he still has to bring his game up another notch.

Ward's style is not very exciting, but he gets the job done. Do I enjoy watching his fights? No, but he keeps winning albeit vs. garbage opposition the last 3-4 years.

 

There is absolutely nothing that GGG does better than Ward. Punching power comes from both technique as well as gifts but Ward's technique is leagues ahead. OP, do you not see how open that GGG leaves his body? He doesn't even counter-jab properly; when Joe Louis, a master of counter-jabbing, would counter-jab, he would leave his elbow at his body so that he wouldn't get hit by left hooks to the body. GGG also leaves his body open whenever he throws a power punch. I don't know as to why that he does this; did he not learn defensive responsibility in his 200+ amateur fights?? Look at how Ward throws his left hooks, jabs, and uppercuts; the elbows stick to his body and the non-punching fists are glued to his jaw. Ward and any fighter with a brain would stop this bumkiller with body punches. GGG's lucky that his "opponents" are too mentally re****ed to you know, um, HIT HIM IN THE BODY.

 

Troll thread? Id actually forgotten how complete a fighter ward is. I don't see anyone being enough of a complete package to beat him over 12 rounds around this Weight class.

 

Comparing Ward to God Gave us Greatness is a joke. Ward's best wins include boxers that fought in the super 6, the other includes planet destroyer middleweight premium Geale that got layed out by a shopworn somewhat old past prime welterweight.

That in itself is a super special quality in God Gave us Greatness that you rarely see in other great fighter's resume.

 

And make sure the promoter you sign with has no working relationship with the manager of these fighters. This dare to be great is a bunch of nonsense. Ward couldn't make 168 anymore. What happens when a boxer cant make a weight class anymore?:think
