Imagine a fight with MW and Morales ? Or a fight with Manny at the lower weights or MW vs Stevie Johnson ? Come on now .There would have been a ton of fights for him ..

And in 08 he could rematched Oscar ,fought either Williams or Maragrito and or secured a fight with Manny !

And Bute was nothing more than hype plain and simple ..And he was scheduled to fight Dirrell ,is it his fault he pulls out ? Uh no !

Ok, he could have had some decent fights if he'd stayed at a lower weight but he moved up and had some good fights anyway. He fought Corrales and Castillo. Moving up and fighting bigger guys like Judah, DLH, Hatton, Cotto, Mosley etc is more difficult and more impressive.

Look at what you wrote below. Those 'threats' turned out to be frauds. If Bute was hype then so were Williams and Margarito. Dirrell wasn't Wards fault? Pacquiao wasn't solely Floyds fault. No point rematching Oscar, he already proved he can beat him.

This thead is about Ward p4p #1. He's not #1 while Floyd is still performing. Ward needs to prove he can go up and dominate bigger guys like Floyd has.

Name the guys he avoided an the time frame in which he avoided them. I'll wait.

And to your second point please explain what division floyd moved out of to avoid guys and name the fighters avoided.

Fought morales when? None of those featherweights seemed eager to come to 30. Never even bothered mentioning floyd. An i remember floyd calling out Naz....he didnt want it.

Manny at what lower weight? Again timeframe

Stevie johnson wouldnt have a chance in hell beating floyd.

In 08 nobody wanted the DLH rematch as people were complaining about the first fight being boring. It was negotiated but floyd opted to retire. Wasnt as if the fight was controversial and needed a rematch anyway.

Williams lost to quintana while floyd an DLH were in negotiations for a rematch..Dont even bring up MArgartito because he lost in july 07 2 months after Floyd beat DLH. Should he have still fought Marg?

An secure a fight with MAnny in 08? While manny was still at 130? coming off controversial decision?

I already gave a list of guys he could have fought instead who did he chose to fight when he moved up from 130 ..At 140 he faces Corely ,Bruseles ,Gatti ,Mitchell,Judah and Baldimor ..

Then fights Oscar ,retires then comes back to fight at welter of all people JMM who was never proven at that weight when you had guys like. Cotto before his loss to Margarito..You also had Margarito who called him out before he chose to fight that killer in Baldimor he also could have fought Winky Wright in 07 who also called him out who Floyd wanted no part of but I know he faced sooo much better fighters !

    Now your turn

He is on the Mayweather level. That fight showed GGG would lose to Ward.

Anybody can pull a list out thier ass....Congrats on that

What are the time frames in which these fights were viable?

Yeah he fought DLH..So what? DLH does far more for his resume (at 54 mind you) than Marg or any of the rest of those guys during that time frame.

****ing MArgarito lost 2 months after Floyd beat DLH. 2 MONTHS...Should he have still fought Marg? An so what Marg called him out...what the hell had Marg done an what the **** would that have added to floyd's legacy?

Williams beat Marg in 07...An lost to Quintana in Feb of 08 during the time Floyd was in negotiations for DLH 2.

Cotto has said out his own mouth that Arum never even brought mayweather up as a possible opponent..EVER..Google it

Arum was busy trying to make Marg vs Cotto for the longest...Williams set it back a year. An to tell you the truth Marg wouldnt have even fought paul had he not been his mandatory.

Alos in 08 Manny was at 130 having controversial decisions with Juan...This resulted in people saying pac has slipped..Should he have fought pac then?

He could have fought winky in 07? Do you realize winky was fighting at 160 or do you not know what the hell you are talking about? Matter of fact Winky fought hopkins at 170 in 07....1 fuking 70..how was this fight supposed to be made?

Again when were these fights viable? Give the time frame or look silly just pulling names out of your ass.

Ward is my 1 and has been for a few years now

The difference in Mayweather and ward is ward fights 3-4 times a year (when not hurt) against anybody and floyd fights 1-2 times a year if lucky against handpicked lowrisk/highest reward opponents
