You may live here but your not American, the fact that you almost hate every Amercian fighter shows that, you only like Pavlik. The rest of your favorites are all European fighters. I actaully have my doubts that you even live in the States. Dont waste your time trying to prove it:yep

Ward won. And for another matter Dirrell won. Just because they dont stand there and let the opponent hit them in the face you want to critisize them. I thought this was a hit and dont be hit sport.

froch didn't hide in "germany or whatever" when he went to america for his first defence and ko'd taylor. that's not hiding. and you're having a laugh if you call that embarrasing display of running away and holding by dirrel "beating froch from pillar to post". it was a very poor fight, but it was dirrel that made it like that.

Ok....and Kessler joins other European fighters as a robotic, one-dimensional fighter that is incapable of ad******g or fighting on the inside properly.

I live in Pennsylvania -- that still America?

    Fighters I like, American:

    Bernard Hopkins
    James Toney
    Kelly Pavlik
    Shane Mosley
    Evander Holyfield

Can't think of others right now

    American former fighters I like:

    Mike Tyson
    Marvin Hagler
    George Foreman
    Michael Spinks
    Thomas Hearns
    Iran Barkley

Foreign fighters I don't like, past and present:

    Lennox Lewis
    Amir Khan
    David Haye

American fighters I don't like, past and present:

    Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
    Andre Ward
    Riddick Bowe
    Chad Dawson

    *

In general, I don't like "runners," wannabe-gangsters, hype jobs and punks. Tyson is an exception because he was so incredibly gifted when he first came up.

Foreign fighters I like, past and present:

    Klitschkos
    Mike McCallum
    Julio Caesar Chavez, Sr.
    Trinidad
    Simon Brown
    Froch
    Diaconu
    Nigel Benn
    Joe Calzaghe
    Kessler
    Roberto Duran

    etc.

I don't like "runners," I do like come-forward, brawling, tough guys. I like punchers. I like guys who come to fight.

Kessler got that ass tapped and it was due to his complete unwillingness and inability to even TRY to fight on the inside. ****, he even complained about the clinches that HE initiated when Ward continued to hit him. Kessler would grab Wards arm, or wrap him up, Ward would hit him with short uppercuts and body punches, and Kessler would look aggravated, and look at the ref, and whine.

Kessler looked awful. I know he's not awful, I like the guy and think he's a pretty good boxer, but he showed a complete lack of dimensionality. How did he get through 41 pro fights without EVER having to deal with what Ward did?

Blame the headbutts all you like if that makes you feel better but American fight fans just saw an American prospect win a title in dominating fashion. If you think that's likely to turn American's OFF to boxing then you're clearly unhinged.

I would say Dirrell is a runner. But not Ward. He beat up Kessler and Miranda convincingly by having faster hands and feet.

What a stupid post. Kessler got out classed in every department. He couldnt handle the speed or movement. Froch got lucky v Dirrell as well.
