According to Dan Rafeal "California commission has once again upheld @DanGoossen's promotional contract in 2nd arbitration brought against him by @andreward. #boxing" So what's next?
Both Ward and his trainer are are losers in the game of life.He can box but is a stupid as a ******ed field mouse.
This. And stop blaming your promotor for your unpopularity while meanwhile fighting once every year and a half and coming across like a dick in all your interviews. And I'm a Ward fan.
in defense of Ward. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/2013/...-with-dan-goossen/?relatedposts_exclude=28164 Ward last defended his WBA Super Middleweight Championship on September 8, 2012, when he stopped Chad Dawson in the 10th round on HBO Championship Boxing. Following a January 4 surgical procedure to repair a torn shoulder muscle and subsequent rehabilitation, Ward has been training while waiting for a date for his next title defense. HBO informed Ward’s Manager, James Prince, and co-promoters, Antonio Leonard Productions and Goossen Tutor, that there was a September date available for Ward. When Ward requested that his manager and co-promoters meet with HBO to discuss the September date, future bouts and marketing plans, Goossen refused to attend the meeting. Ward abruptly left training (following his return from Canada where was an HBO commentator for the June 8, 2013 Stevenson-Dawson Light Heavyweight Championship Bout) to address the California Boxing Commission at its scheduled bi-monthly meeting.
Ward's people released a response that pretty much says that the case is still pending in the Cali courts and that Dan has not yet won or been upheld in the courts. Ward's people alos say that last year when Ward filed the suit he got with Goosen and asked to keep working together while the suit was moving forward by todate Goosen has been unable to deliver Ward any fights. Ward says that since Goosen has failed to deliver him a fight since Rodriquez, this is further proof that Goosen has provided him with poor representation and promotion.
Very unfortunate for the best fighter in the world outside of Floyd... 175lbs is easy work for him too... Kovalev would be easy ****en work
