Not Ward fan but it is damn shame he wasted his career considered his talent. He still has time but Im not sure his mind is in the game like it was years ago to archieve big things.

 

I had Beyer at a similar level with Ward and did consider Beyer.
Resume wise Beyer has an argument but his losses also count.
Beyer (3 time SMW champ) beat WBC champ Woodhall, prime Green who was int champ and who became a LHW and CW champ, WBC SMW champ Lucas, Sanavia, and made several defences but I would probably give Ward a slight edge overall

Sven Ottke isn't as good as Ward skill wise. So many close decisions. He ducked Mikkel Kessler like a chicken. Look at his record list. Not impressive to me. Not one world class fighter and still alot close decisions.

Ward have beaten both Kessler and Froch. Both fighters are alot better than anyone on Ottkes record list. Ottke had two very close fights vs Rudy Markussen and Mads L****n. I know that Kessler is a way better boxer than both Rudy and Mads.

Let's see.

Krajnc - bum.
Robin Reid - Lost that fight.
Mads L****n - +10 8 round fights before this fight. Still a very close decision.
David Starie - bum.
Byron Mitchell - 2 close fights vs Manny Siaca before the Ottke fight. Another average SMW.
Rudy Markussen - Undefeated but only 8 rounds fights before the Ottke fight. A very close decision again. Rudy is a bum btw. Look at his record list.
Joe Gatti - Really?
Thomas Tate - ........
And so on.......

Not a single world class fighter. To me u can't even compare Ward and Ottke. Ward is simply just way better.

And even Ottke's opponents weren't all bums - hell, they weren't even all European, so that was a faulty generalization by all means yet you defended that because you are a total moron who likes to contradict himself. Roc Nation is paying Ward the same purses that Goosen was. :rofl
